CANCELED: The Arts are the Solution: Arts Integration Across All Subject Areas

This workshop will focus on Arts Integration Across All Subject Areas as A Way to Increase Student Understanding and Engagement.
Presented by Tom Tobias, Arts Education Director, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education

The morning will consist of small group activities learning how the various approaches to integration work. The afternoon will be spent collaborating on developing plans for art integrated units, lesson plans and assessments.

Participants will come away with an increased individual level of:
* how to integrate arts in their teaching
* using arts integration to capture the engagement and enthusiasm of your students

It would be great to bring a school or grade-level team.
Lunch provided.
