Northern Kentucky boys basketball: Jordan Niehaus, Holy Cross – The senior’s 24 points led Holy Cross toward a triple overtime win over Beechwood 83-81 Feb. 10.

Ohio boys basketball: Joey Edmonds, Wyoming – The junior point guard scored his 1,000th career point Feb. 9 on a layup off an assist from Evan Prater in a 60-46 win over Mariemont.

Northern Kentucky girls basketball: Reagan Atwood, Bellevue – She scored her 1,000th point Feb. 9 in the 59-50 win over Dayton.

Ohio girls basketball: Addie Brown, Talawanda – The four-year starter and team captain broke the school record for most points in a game by scoring 38 against Goshen in a 64-54 victory Feb. 5. She broke her own record Feb. 8 against Middletown Madison on Senior Night by scoring 40 points in the 54-49 victory. In the second quarter of that game, she scored her 1,000th point.

Boys bowling: Adam Firestein, Seven Hills – He had the high series at 404 in Seven Hills’ win over Deer Park and Wyoming Feb. 9 and the high series against Reading (355) on Feb. 7.

Girls bowling: Madison Littelmann, Seton – The sophomore had a 431 high series to help Seton beat Oak Hills 2,442-2,231.

Boys swimming and diving: Noah Vigran, Indian Hill – He won the Division II sectional championship in diving Feb. 7 at Mason with a score of 616.85

Girls swimming and diving: Adriane Storer, Wyoming – She won the Division II sectional diving championship at Keating with a score of 344.35.

Wrestling: Tom and Alex Coleman, Ross – The brothers won back-to-back pins at the 220 and 285 weight class against Mentor Lake Catholic to prevent a shutout in the semifinal round of the state team tournament. The team gave everything they had in the first round to advance to that level, coach Rich Dunn said.
