Conference Ministers Speak Out on Racial Disparity of COVID-19 Impact

The Bridge Conference Ministers and Board President have issued a pastoral letter calling for specific actions in response to the racial disparities highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

They are asking that churches, clergy and members share the letter widely.

Edwards House Food Put to Good Use

The freezers at Edwards House Meeting & Retreat Center were full of food when the Coronavirus hit Massachusetts, forcing the Conference facility to stop hosting gatherings. 

But thanks to the Edwards House staff, the food is not going to waste. Every weekend, Kitchen Manager Mike Forcier cooks up and individually packages 25 meals, which he delivers free of charge on Mondays to the Shadows Shelter in Ashland, an emergency shelter for women.

Small Church Makes Big Effort on RIP Medical Debt

In West Woodstock, Connecticut, a small village in the town of Woodstock in the northeast corner of the state is the equally small church, the Church of the Good Shepherd.
