Dear SAM Students, Parents and Faculty,

It has been a busy and exciting fall semester here at SAM and we'd like to take a moment to share with you some of our student success stories and other news. Our students and faculty have been busy at work and the results are proving to be very rewarding. We are grateful for all the successes of 2017 and look forward to a wonderful 2018 filled with music and joy. As a reminder, SAM will be closed from Dec. 24th through Jan 6, 2018. SAM students receive center and state Certificates of Excellence for earning top grades in Spring examinations

Voice students Ada Yan, Jason Richardson and Veronica Luzine received both, State Certificate of Excellence and Center Certificate of Excellence for earning the highest grades in Miami and in the state of Florida in their respective levels.

Piano students Brianna Hall, Joaquin Salvade from the studio of Miss Fomicheva received Center Certificate of Excellence for earning the highest grades in Miami in their respective levels.

Piano students Mason Ross and Thomas Karam-Silva from the studio of Dr. Llupa also received Center Certificate of Excellence, earning the highest grades in Miami in their respective levels.

We congratulate all of them for their stellar performances in the 2017 Spring Assessments.

SAM Piano Students Highlights

Zoe Aldana and Ryan Kim, both piano students of Miss Fomicheva, were finalists in the Greater Miami Youth Symphony Concerto Competition receiving both of them raving reviews from the judges. Anastacia Bozenova, also from the studio of Miss Fomicheva, was the finalist for the state of Florida at the Junior Division of the Music Teachers National Association National Competition which took place at the University of South Florida in Tampa. We sincerely congratulate all these students and their teacher for these marvelous accomplishments.

Winter Recital Pictures

Our Nov. 12th recital pictures captured the joyful spirit and excitement of our students and families during our event. All the pictures have been posted in our F acebook page and may be downloaded by selecting Options>download under each picture. What beautiful memories from an afternoon filled with music and community! Congratulations again to all the students who performed and we look forward to our next recitals on June 10, 2018. Preschool music class Spring Session (for ages 3-5)

SAM's preschool music program introduces children to music fundamentals and terminology through singing, playing instruments, purposeful movement activities, tonal and rhythmic patterning, rhymes, and focused listening. Many of these activities will also enhance the student’s growing cognitive and motor skills. Our preschool music program spring session will start on Wednesday January 10th, 2018 from 4-4:45pm. SAM New Testimonial

A professional space to develop musical skills. We have been a part of the school since 2016 and we love it. The instructors are versed in their craft patient, friendly and professional. The school has recitals at University of Miami, and the instructors provide multiple opportunities to have your family watch them perform across Miami. My 6 year old is in piano and our 3 year old will be starting violin soon. Highly recommended for those serious in development and instruction for Sight reading and learning instruments. Dr. Llupa is phenomenal with our son.
