Dear Friends, Colleagues and Partners,

If it is October it must be the General Assembly of the ABU and this year was no exception. DRM was present in Chengdu, China and there was a lot to update participants on.

India is still the priority and the Consortium has been involved in the consultations initiated by the regulator TRAI examining the best options for digitising the FM in India. More about it below.

Articles on what is needed for digitisation (from Nautel) and a blog on convergence will give you a chance to comment and send us your observations.

The good news is also that our free Implementation Guide has been updated to incorporate the latest information on DRM for local coverage and the most recent tests.

If you have exciting news about you or you want your company to feature in the next Newsletter projectoffice@drm.org can tell you how!

Finally, please do not forget to join us on Twitter, YouTube and Flickr.

And if you want to join the Consortium please contact projectoffice@drm.org.
