(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Teacher Advisory Council (TAC) Kentucky Board of Education (KBE) Application Review Special Committee will meet on March 15 at 9 a.m. ET.
The TAC is designed to improve the educational landscape of Kentucky by providing Kentucky’s commissioner of education with direct input from Kentucky’s classrooms. Bridging the gap between policy and practice, the TAC was created to advise the commissioner on educational priorities so that Kentucky’s students are well-prepared for any career they choose. The ultimate goal is effective teaching in every school, every classroom, every day.
The purpose of the KBE Application Review Special Committee is to review applications for the 2022-2023 nonvoting teacher member of the Kentucky Board of Education (KBE) and recommend three candidates to the KBE.
The meeting will be held in person at the KDE building, 300 Sower Blvd., Room 516, KDE Conference Room. The recorded meeting will be available on the KDE Media Portal, following the conclusion of the meeting.
