[3.14] Flame Golem 101 - Complete Guide To Golemancy, ✔️All Bosses Down, ✔️Necro, ✔️Elementalist

Couple of questions, i have been using 4 spectres, 2 flame golems, 1 light and 1 ice golem. Am i better off just using 4 fire golems?
If so what would my jewel setup be without those 2 golems?
And if i can improve my build then by all means advise me.
It is standard so i have quite a bit of currency.

The total amount that you can slow the expiration of an effect on a character through a time-slowing mechanism (such as Temporal Chains) is now capped at 75% from all sources.

This wont affect default build, but stacking additional slow as chance to Maim / Hinder / Aspect of Spider on minions with Abyssal jewels might not be as effective anymore. Temporal Chains is still alone enough to make all non-boss enemies very easy to deal with.

Hey Mika,

This was mentioned recently by Karv I think. It was related to people casting temp chains on themselves using things like shackles of the wretched to make buffs like headhunter apply to them indefinitely. It was only viable in PvP and effectively we can ignore it completely for effects you would want to use on enemies in PvE.

It just relates to the part of the temp chains skillgem that says "other effects" expire 40% slower. I don't think we really care that much about this part of the skillgem since we aren't looking to scale one massive ignite and then have it last much longer.

Stacking Temp Chains & Hinder should be as effective as it was before this change. I don't know if there is a cap in place for these effects but it shouldn't differ from that in past leagues in a way the average player will notice.

Added a new Strength/Intelligence Support Gem - Multiple Totems Support: Supported skills have +2 to maximum number of Summoned Totems. When you use a supported totem skill, you summon two totems instead of one. Supported skills deal less damage.

Would be nice if it worked with Tukohama Vanguards :)

It sure would! However.......

The Multiple Totems Support skill gem says it supports skills which summon totems. This line isn't shown in the text you mention but you can see it on the support gem data they added today of the lvl 20/20 gems.

This might have worked if we had a raise TV spectre gem which has the totem tag as part of the skill gem. However since we just use a generic raise spectre gem which does not have the totem tag I would be amazed if it does allow them to actually be affected by the multiple totems support & cast multiple totems at once.

Still we can hope ;P

Hello :)

I would definitely go with 4x Flame Golems. TV Specs are doing most boss kill damage anyway, and you get lot faster clear-speed with 4x Golems. Good links instead of extra Golems in gloves are :
Storm Burst -> Cast While Channeling -> Desecrate -> Flesh Offering
to give minions extra damage boost. It will be even better if Winter Orb works as I imagine and will also blind enemies for you with your gloves.

You have very nice gear already but some things to improve :
- You don't seem to have extra curse in either amulet or "Whispers of Doom", yet you have 2x curses active. I would respec to "Whispers of Doom" asap as you are missing out totally on second curse.
- TV Specs cant use "Immolate" at all. the 40% increased damage for Flame Golems is pretty good but you are missing lot of boss damage as Golems already have tons of increased damage from all Harmonies.
- Movement speed in boots would be huge quality of life.
- More ES and maybe legacy increased max ES in rings would be huge bonus to EHP
- I would roll belt upper line to max value with blessed orbs.
- Depending of currency, you can go pretty crazy with legacy gear in standard. 20% increased ES on rings and 575+ ES shield makes you lot tankier.
- You can aim to max all items ES rolls like Vis Mortis.

Hope this helps :)

Hey :)

Thanks for clearing the Temp Chains matter! Makes sense if it was exploited in PVP. To running 1-2x extra Abyssal jewel will still be useful in future.

I was missing my 8x Totem party when using "Tukohama's Fortress". If the shield still worked, it would mean 16 Totems from 4x Specs with new support. Unfortunately TVs have new AI fix that prevents them from placing additional Totem if one is already out.

Hey, Would really like to play this build in the upcoming league.
Buuut Im not sure if this is playable as starter.

Never played a summoner/necro before, so Im not able to judge if this is possible at all :)
Hope you can help me making the decision!

See leveling tips at post #3 and have fun. Summoner its a very good league starter, with low budged you will have a good char.
Thanks Mica, helped a lot.
This guide is pure gold!

I have decided to make this my league starter this time and i have a quick question.

What map mods do you guys reroll with this build?
And what map mods are not doable at all?

If I remember correctly the last time I played Necromancer TV + Wicker, there is no bad rolls for this build. ^^
One of the things I have always liked about elementalist golemancer is that with a curse flask and a mana flask you can completely ignore the map mods - there's basically nothing you can't run. Although hex proof might be a little sketchy once you are used to mapping with max level temp chains!

I've been thinking of trying something a little memey (I mean bad) with golems and the new brands!

Get the golems in a normal elder helmet with conc effect, minion damage & + minion levels if able. Slot in Combustion. Grab spiritual aid on the tree and the rune binder keystone next to it for some brand scaling. Then chuck your lightening golem in the recently buffed Malachai's Artifice so ONLY your ice golem will proc EE for you. This leaves you with a 6-link in your chest for the Armageddon Brand which will benefit from EE from your ice golem, combustion from
your flame golems & allow two brands to be attached to an enemy from rune binder.

The downside is relatively little scaling for the brand on the tree but it would be something you would cast two of for a bossfight / red beast. Can then also run primordial chain for the extra 3 golems and movement speed.

Like I say - very memey & probably terrible. But if Armageddon Brand ends up being awesome might be fun a away to help take down tankier targets and look cool too!!

Edit: Maybe add a scorching ray totem too with multiple totems support otherwise runebinder won't let you have one. Not for dmg - just for the - fire res.
