Kunming Halal Restaurant (昆明園), the Fantastic Halal Restaurant in Taipei, Taiwan!

On Aug. 31, 2018, my friend and I visited Kunming Halal Restaurant (昆明園), the halal restaurant in Taipei, Taiwan. It's located near MRT Nanjing-Fuxing Station. Halal is frequently applied to permissible food and drinks for muslims.


In fact, we initially planned to line up at McDonald's to buy all kinds of burgers and get the same one free. Unfortunately, there were too many people queueing, so we decided to give it up.



After we had seats at Kunming Halal Restaurant (昆明園), the banknotes from various nations on the table really impressed me so much!


Because we were only two guys, some large courses might exceed our need.


Eventually, we both decided to order Briyani Rice with Chicken (布理亞尼雞肉飯) at 220 TWD (= 7.14 USD) ea.


The rice of Briyani Rice with Chicken was Indian long rice. It tasted totally different from the common rice in Taiwan. It was a little dry and less stick.


But the Indian long rice with curry tasted really amazing!


The chicken was also tender and luscious. It was pretty matched with the curry and Indian long rice!

It was a shame that we were only two guys that time. We couldn't order various dishes. I'd like to invite more friends to enjoy the gourmets here next time.

If you are less than 3 people, it would be a better choice for its business lunch to visit Kunming Halal Restaurant (昆明園) at noon.
