Dyslexia: Screening and Planning for Academic Growth

Missouri educators will be asked to screen all students Grades K-3 for characteristics of Dyslexia at the beginning of the 2018-19 school year. Participants will develop an understanding of what might be needed to address future growth and success for teachers and students struggling with reading difficulties. This day will include:
* Overview of the Law
* Digging into Guidance for Screening and Planning
* Screeners with high predictive value for reading failure
* Implications for Planning

Teams will develop a school or building plan for implementation. We suggest attending as a team, administrator and teacher(s).
