Justin Timberlake is back on stage and he couldn’t be happier. “Last night. Feels good to be back,” the singer wrote on Sunday (Jan. 6), 48 hours after he headlined the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. following a two month hiatus from performing due to bruised vocal cords. The Man of the Woods tour re-booted on Friday night (Jan. 4) and continued on Sunday night (Jan. 6) with a gig at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The tour was delayed in late October, when Timberlake canceled a show at Madison Square Garden in New York, explaining that “my vocal cords are severely bruised… I’m gonna make this up to you.” Other postponements followed and JT shared an update in early December, noting he was on the mend and that doctors had recommended he hold off on singing until January.
The Live Nation-produced tour has been extended until mid-April. Check out some more pictures from JT’s return to the stage below.
