Man held after 'language row' at Royal Oak pub

A man has been questioned by police following an alleged firearms incident in a pub in Gwynedd.

Officers were called to the Royal Oak at Penrhyndeudraeth near Porthmadog following what is understood to have been a row between new pub managers and customers over the use of the Welsh language.

A man was arrested and then released on bail.
