(Do me a favour and read this with a grain of salt because it's due for a massive overhaul.)
"You've got quite a temper son- I like you! Just mind it doesn't get you in trouble.." He tossed the little cup in the air, catching him with his arms pinned to his sides instead.
"See, my friends around here don't care much for chaos.. Sad, ain't it? I imagine you and I know how much they're missing out on, heh. Still, 'round these parts, troublemakers are liable to meet some consequences." He made an alarming gesture with his free hand across his neck and Cuphead adopted a comical look of shock. The dark toon laughed.
"Looks like you've got the idea."

When the soggy cups turned up at King Dice's house smack dab in the middle of a rainy evening, his first thought was to tell them to beat it. But when Cuphead's tremulous little request was made, his crooked straw drooping into his face as he clasped his hands together and begged for Dice to let him and his brother stay.. Dice couldn't seem to find the brass to ignore them.

Immediately scrambling to his feet with no care for his badly scraped elbows and knees, he practically threw himself over the wooden fence separating the top of the hill from the parking lot."Wow!" He yelled. Eyes wide with wonder, with disbelief, the few split seconds in which he was able to catch a glimpse of the thing seemed to pass in slow motion. It couldn't be. It couldn't be..
