With expanding pathways to college for students with intellectual and developmental disability, increased opportunities exist for partnerships between high schools and colleges to support students ages 18-21 to take classes, get jobs, and be a part of the campus community.

This 3 credit graduate level, fully on line course is appropriate for transition specialists, college program coordinators, secondary education teachers, secondary special education administrators and doctoral students.

Join this special topics graduate course to learn about:

• The latest data from Think College on national practices

• Laws and federal guidance that support

    • college-based transition services (CBTS)
    • inclusive postsecondary education
    • use of WIOA/Pre-ETS services

• Key components of transition services on a college campus

• Interagency collaboration activities to establish and maintain CBTS
