WCPSS School-to-Career is an initiative that brings the real world into the classroom. The program integrates communication and soft skills training, career exploration, work based learning in conjunction with career focused courses(Computer Programming, Digital Media, Culinary, CAD, Network Engineering, Marketing, Carpentry....etc.) to tie academics to the workplace. In order to provide these experiences for our students, we need workplace and community volunteers to share their expertise and time. You can provide this valuable information to our students by volunteering to be a member of the CHS Business Alliance, talking with students during SMART lunch in Career Conversations, participating in mock interviews, hosting a field trip at your workplace, hosting an individual student shadow or internship, or providing to real world expertise for classes. This is an opportunity for you, as a businessperson and/or parent, to impact the lives of our students at CHS.
