NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman says Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan “would average 50” if he played in this era.

Rodman also said Jordan is the greatest player of all-time and LeBron James isn't better than MJ.

“If Michael played in this era, he'd average 50,” Rodman said on ESPN's First Take. “He'd average 50 points. LeBron's a great talent. He's probably one of the top three players who have ever played. (But) I don't know why you guys discuss the GOAT.”

Jordan and LeBron are universally recognized as the top two basketball players of all-time. With the Bulls, Jordan went 6-0 in the NBA Finals and won six Finals MVPs. MJ also won five regular season MVP awards, 10 scoring titles and was the 1988 Defensive Player of the Year, an award James has never won.

Jordan averaged 30.1 points per game for his career with the Bulls and Washington Wizards. Yes, James passed Jordan on the NBA's all-time scoring list this past season, but it took The King a lot more games to do it. This isn't taking anything away from James. He's the best player of his generation and a player we likely won't see the likes of ever again.

However, LeBron's 3-6 record in the NBA Finals is the stat pundits will always point to when people try and say James is better than Jordan. And with the way they call fouls in today's NBA, it's possible Jordan could come close to averaging 50 points per game.
