Students with Disabilities in Specialized Programs in Grades K – 12 Will Return To RCSD Schools January 4

Rochester City School District Superintendent Dr. Lesli Myers-Small has announced that beginning January 4, 2021, Students with Disabilities in Specialized Programs in grades K – 12 will return to school buildings for four days of in-person learning. 

RCSD Conducts Surveys and Holds Focus Groups on Reopening of Schools 

In the month of October, the Rochester City School District conducted surveys on the reopening of schools and distributed it to students, families, and staff.   

Monroe County, Local Funders Collaborate to Help RCSD Students Get Better Internet Connectivity

The Rochester City School District is proud to announce that through a community partnership, the District will be able to provide unlimited data to a select of portion of its student population to assist with remote learning.  

  
RCSD Joins 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge 

The Rochester City School District is participating in a 21-day racial equity challenge in partnership with the United Way and several other organizations around Rochester.  

State Monitor Public Hearing on RCSD Academics and Finances 

A public hearing previously scheduled for Wednesday, October 28 has been rescheduled to Thursday, November 12 at 5:30 p.m.
