Escape Recruitment require a Production / Press Operator for our client based in Glenrothes.
This is a temporary role.
An immediate start is required.
You will need to be able to work dayshift and backshift on a weekly rotating pattern. Shifts are;
- Days: 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday
- Backs: 2pm to 10.30pm Monday to Thursday and 2pm - 6pm on a Friday.
Rate of pay on dayshift is £9.16 per hour. Backshift is £12.19 per hour. Weekly pay.
Role
Working as part of our client's operations and production team, the Press Operator is responsible for the safe operation of power presses and. The ideal candidate must ensure all daily targets are met whilst following all internal safety and quality procedures.
** You must have the ability to read engineered drawings and use all measuring equipment. **
Responsibilities
- Operate power press
- Material handling- loading and unloading.
- Inspection and Quality control of manufactured components.
- Assembling/packing parts ready for dispatch.
- Manufacturing high volume parts working to tight deadlines.
- Any other reasonable and relevant duties as and when required
