In a vote that ended March 8, cincinnati.com readers voted for the Cincinnati Enquirer athlete of the week winners for Feb. 25-March 3, sponsored by TriHealth.

You do not have to be a subscriber to vote, a period that lasts Monday afternoon to Friday at 3 p.m. each week. Please submit any nominees by Monday for the previous week's performances to mlaughman@enquirer.com. The new ballot will be posted Monday. You can vote once an hour from any device.

Ohio boys basketball: Bryan Warah, Purcell Marian – He had 15 points, 8 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block in the 67-23 win over East Clinton, advancing them to the sectional final. They beat Blanchester 72-32 to advance to the district tournament.

Northern Kentucky boys basketball: Garrett Jones, Walton-Verona – He scored 16 points, including 11 foul shots, to help Walton-Verona win an Eighth Region championship March 2.

Ohio girls basketball: Jasmine Eubanks, Roger Bacon – She had 16 points and 10 rebounds in the 50-46 win over Indian Hill Feb. 25 to advance to the district final, where the Spartans finished as runners-up.

Northern Kentucky girls basketball:  Grace Bezold, Holy Cross – The sophomore had a game-leading 20 points in a 71-46 loss to Highlands. She had 4 rebounds and was 6-for-9 in field goals, 1-for-2 at the 3-point line and 7-for-9 in free throws.

Boys bowling: Tommy Averwater, Clermont Northeastern – The senior placed 43rd at the Division II state tournament with a series of 588.

Girls bowling: Olivia Hensley, Seton – She was the highest placing Seton bowler in the Division I district meet at 10th, helping Seton win third place as a team and advancement to the state meet. Seton was the only local team to advance to state.

Wrestling:  Seth Henderson, Miami Valley Christian Academy - He won the 160-pound weight class by a 4-3 decision over his Coldwater opponent March 2 at the Division III district tournament.
