COME JOIN US FOR A WEEKEND OF COMMUNITY WITH COURT MORGAN

Invite a sense of spaciousness, ease and efficiency to your practice and open to the natural abundance of compassion, grace, and stillness within your being. Our first evening together initiates this by connecting to the stability of the ground and re-organizing and releasing tension in the lower body (feet, legs, and hips). Our second workshop plays your edges with a practice that challenges  the core and builds both pliancy and resilience, giving way to greater balance in all of life. On our final day, decompress the spine and shoulders and find new length in the front body along with willingness and courage to meet the future - and whatever it may bring - as we touch the abode of the heart. Over three days, our work will address the entire system of the body from the ground up. You will discover new insights and techniques to inspire your practice, deepen your understanding, and connect to the abundance of your heart.

You can expect steady, thoughtful, physically challenging practices, meditation, and breath work in each class. Some experience recommended - this was created for those who have a regular practice or who are looking to come back to their practice after time away.

Honest, inspired, quirky, and sincere, Court embodies a style of synthesized awareness of the body and mind through a natural and relaxed presence. She is regarded for her anatomical expertise, humor, eloquence and physically powerful, graceful approach to movement practices. She offers an intuitive, pragmatic and light-hearted approach to living from the heart, and emphasizes exploring the idea of sustainability in every part of life. Her philosophy as a teacher is to help students access, trust, and understand their natural inner resources for wellness through personal investigation of the processes of body and mind.

Initially introduced to meditation by way of a sports psychologist in 1997, she began practicing yoga in 2001. Following her foundational certification from YogaWorks, she studied and apprenticed with master Ashtanga teacher and YogaWorks Co-Founder Chuck Miller, participating in weeklong intensive classes in Vancouver and Copenhagen. She completed advanced teacher training under the guidance of Jason Crandell, whose trainings and workshops she was fortunate to assist during and after graduation. She most recently completed Yoga TuneUp certification in 2018 and intensive programs with her current teacher, Tias Little. She is the founder of Revolver Yoga Studio in Walla Walla, Washington in 2013 and taught at the studio until 2019.

Courtney currently lives in Providence, Rhode Island, with her partner and fellow teacher, Laura Williamson. Full biography and more information at www.CourtMorgan.com
