Honest, inspired, quirky, and sincere, Court embodies a style of synthesized awareness of the body and mind through a natural and relaxed presence. She is regarded for her anatomical expertise, humor, eloquence and physically powerful, graceful approach to movement practices. She offers an intuitive, pragmatic and light-hearted approach to living from the heart, and emphasizes exploring the idea of sustainability in every part of life. Her philosophy as a teacher is to help students access, trust, and understand their natural inner resources for wellness through personal investigation of the processes of body and mind.
Initially introduced to meditation by way of a sports psychologist in 1997, she began practicing yoga in 2001. Following her foundational certification from YogaWorks, she studied and apprenticed with master Ashtanga teacher and YogaWorks Co-Founder Chuck Miller, participating in weeklong intensive classes in Vancouver and Copenhagen. She completed advanced teacher training under the guidance of Jason Crandell, whose trainings and workshops she was fortunate to assist during and after graduation. She most recently completed Yoga TuneUp certification in 2018 and intensive programs with her current teacher, Tias Little. She is the founder of Revolver Yoga Studio in Walla Walla, Washington in 2013 and taught at the studio until 2019.
