Six Firefighters Injured in East Baltimore Fire

BALTIMORE (WBFF)-- Baltimore City Fire crews are on scene of a two alarm fire in East Baltimore.

Multiple medics were called for reports of injured firefighters in the 400 block of N. Glover St near Patterson Park.

City fire officials now confirm that six firefighters were hurt, amending an earlier tally of seven.

A mayday call went out for two firefighters who were down.

They were removed from the building and all members are now accounted for.

Units were advised to battle the blaze from the outside of the building only.

All six injured firefighters were taken to Bayview Burn Center for treatment.

The fire is now under control.

The cause is under investigation.
