Rabbi Duvi Bensoussan is currently the senior Rabbi of Congregation Magen Abraham of Brooklyn, New York; the shul caters to young Syrian-Lebanese Jews with morning and night seder programs led by Rabbi Bensoussan. Rabbi Bensoussan has taught the upper grades of high school for over two decades, successfully reaching even the most disengaged students. Many of these have gone on to learn in prominent yeshivot in Israel and lead very successful lives.
Over the years the Rabbi’s dynamic speeches and lectures have touched and inspired the lives of many. His clear oratory style and power of delivery have become popular through a workshop Rabbi Bensoussan leads for rabbis and teachers looking to learn the art of connecting to students. He is world-renowned for his captivating storytelling, leaving audiences inspired to grow.
A graduate of Yeshivas ITRI in Jerusalem, Rabbi Bensoussan also has a BA in Hebrew Letters and a Masters in Social Dynamics.

This Week's Videos
|
|
These videos are a part of the Countdown to Yomim Noraim Initiative, a series of Practical, Realistic, and Inspirational Messages to help us prepare for a truly uplifting Rosh Hashana that we all so desperately yearn for during our current situation. Join us for the 40-day journey with a series of short video messages from our Kollel members on timely and crucial topics. Let's count down to Rosh Hashana together, and make this year count more than ever.

Yomin Noraim seating for men at the Kollel is open. The number of responses will greatly affect how we arrange our davening so we ask that you answer as soon as possible. To sign up please follow this link: https://www.phillykollel.org/seating-sign-up.html. If you are interested in a more spacious minyan on the lower level, please indicate so in the comments box.

|
|
|
We are in the process of planning the seating area for women over the Yomim Noraim. We would like to get an idea of how many people intend to join us so we can plan accordingly. While we will not have reserved seating again this year (except to accommodate special needs) we ask that anyone wishing to join us for a majority of the daytime tefillos on any day, please follow this link to sign up.
Thank you.

The Kollel is in the process of transferring to a new fingerprint-access system which is highly accurate and will save you time and aggravation.
If you use a FOB to enter the building, it should already work. Please let us know if that is not the case.
If you use a fingerprint or would like to start using one, you will need to register your fingerprint in the new system. The process takes no more than 2 minutes.
To make an appointment to be fingerprinted, please contact Rabbi Zeffren at [email protected]. As always, questions and comments are welcome."
