Aly's Project: Feed The Needy
United Way is excited to offer an opportunity for 4H and FFA students in Lewis, Marion, Monroe, Ralls, and/or Shelby Counties to donate their livestock projects to local food pantries and senior centers. The youth donates the livestock project at the conclusion of fair season and grant dollars received by United Way pay for the processing of that animal.  

Responsibilities of Donor: Transport livestock project to butcher shop on pre-scheduled day and select where they would like the project to be donated.

Responsibilities of United Way: Pay for processing of livestock project and coordinate the delivery of meat to food pantry/senior center.  

By filling out the following form, you are showing interest in donating your livestock project at the conclusion of fair season to a local senior center or food pantry. This will allow us to have information we need to contact you and confirm your intentions to donate as well as ensure we have enough dollars for this initiative.
