New Plano office campus ready for business

New Billingsley Co. building is the first of five planned.

Construction has wrapped up on the first of five buildings planned in the next phase of Billingsley Co.'s International Business Park in Plano.

The four-story, 187,100-square-foot office project was built by general contractor Adolfson & Peterson Construction.

The just-completed project includes a 9,000-square-foot campus amenity center building with conference facilities, food service and a fitness center that will serve the entire development.

Billingsley has built more than a dozen projects in its International Business Park since the 1990s.

The 300-acre mixed-use development has more than 1.4 million square feet of space in existing buildings.

The addition to the campus will eventually add almost another 1 million square feet of offices in five buildings. Dallas architect GFF designed the project.

“With Plano’s continued business growth, this new building ensures that International Business Park will be well-positioned to welcome more corporate neighbors and continue to thrive,” Bob Lemke, vice president of operations at Adolfson & Peterson Construction, said in a statement.

Trevor Franke and Gini Rounsaville of JLL are marketing the building.

More than 100 businesses with more than 4,000 employees are now housed in International Business Park.

“The design for this new campus is rooted in what matters to employees right now,” said Lucy Burns, partner at Billingsley Co. "With a big focus on amenities and wellness, the building features a coffee bar on the first floor and great outdoor green space with a walking trail.

“Fresh air is such a vital component to wellness today, and there will be private outdoor space for our first floor tenants, giving them direct access to the indoor-outdoor workspace that is in high demand.”
