Graduating from the Decatur high school with the class of 1912, she later attended Wellesley college, Wellesley, Mass., in 1913-14. She and Lloyd W. Brown were married in Decatur, June 16, 1917. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal church.
She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Margery Brown. She also leaves her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Haines, and a sister and brother, Miss Frances G. Wilson of Decatur and Archie F. Wilson of Whiting, Ind. The body was taken to the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home and prepared for burial. Funeral services will be private and will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the home. Burial will be in Fairlawn.
