I had the good fortune to sit next to Mr. Henry in the author section of Hallowcon 2018. He was an awesome table neighbor and brought us donuts and coffee on the last day! We had a lot of great conversations about the world of the Indie Author. He is hosting the first annual Next Chapter Convention in September (see below), and we will have a table there!
Bio:
Kenyon T. Henry is the author of the young adult urban fantasy series, "Chronicles of Stephen." While he has enjoyed writing for years, it wasn't until 2017 that his first book, Choice of the Mighty, was published. Two short years later he has two more stories published in the series with a fourth book well under way. Kenyon and his wife, Shaunna, live in Northwest Georgia. Between them, they have six children and two huskies. He considers being a writer his "Superman gig."

So, I've got a lot going on these days. I'm hosting a first year book convention, Next Chapter, in Ringgold, GA on September 7, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Admission is $5 for adults, 12 and under are free. Plus, $2 of the admission can go to a local school or library.) I'm in the editing process of book 4, which is a prequel to the first three. Books 5 & 6 are begging to be written, as are a couple stand alone projects. I'm considering a suspense/thriller story, and a paranormal/romance. My key to writing is to try to write something every day. I do take at least one day in which I try to do nothing that concerns writing. Instead, I'll try to do anything else, walk, workout, watching TV, etc. It's a mental reset for me. Besides, it's not good to sit all day, everyday.
I like to include twists and keep the reader guessing. Writing a prequel, "The First Outcast," has been an interesting process. How do you keep someone guessing when they know where it's going? Well, I believe I've discovered at least a couple ways to do so that will keep the reader guessing. In a way, I feel like an illusionist. Look over here, and not at what I'm really doing. If you're interested in being part of the writing process, I have the (very) rough draft of book four on Wattpad. Feel free to enjoy and leave me comments. I do review them all!

Choice of the Mighty
