Music 172D/272D: Private Jazz Piano lessons
Audition Information and Format
All private piano instruction will be taught online in a “live” interactive format for one hour per week. Sessions will also be recorded and made available so students can refer back to them afterward. You must have access to a piano or digital keyboard to participate. For those on campus, I believe there will be some rooms with pianos that will be available for you to use on a scheduled basis. Please contact me for more information:
murlow@stanford.edu.
For auditions, you have the option of either having a “live” audition over Zoom or submitting a recorded audition.
Use this form to sign up for a Zoom audition. Auditions will take about 20 minutes. I will be available Monday, September 14 through Wednesday, September 16 from 10 AM through 5 PM to meet with you. If you would like to request this format, please contact me at
