B.L.M.I.C. PRESS RELEASE
 
 
    The Black Lives Matter Interfaith Coalition of Baltimore invites everyone to join our BLM motorcade on Monday, January 18th, to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, to raise awareness of the discrimination and violence experienced by Black people in the US, to call for growing the community’s love and respect for Black people, and to offer everyone a way to express our determination and support in the midst of the pandemic. 
 
    The Coalition held a number of sidewalk rallies in the autumn. but is pausing this activity to help protect people from the heightened risk of covid-19 at this time.  The motorcade emerged as a better way to make a public BLM statement, and engage the public in supporting this healing and peacebuilding cause. 
 
    The map below shows the route through Baltimore city.  We will gather at St. Matthew Church, 5401 Loch Raven Boulevard, at 10:30 am, and begin the actual motorcade at 11.  For more information, please call Ryan Sattler at 717-891-6156, or visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BlmInterfaithCO for details, and for news and any updates concerning the motorcade.
