About how to address the president of a country, are the following examples acceptable? My primary question lies with example (5).

(1) Thank you, Mr. President, for attending our show.
(2) Thank you, President, for attending our show.
(3) Thank you, President Obama, for attending our show.
(4) Thank you, Mr. President Obama, for attending our show.
(5) Thank you, Presidency, for attending our show.

  • "Presidency" is either the position of being a president ("Obama held the U.S. presidency for eight years") or the time someone was a president ("I got my first driver's license during the Eisenhower presidency"). It is not a form of address for a person.
