THE ROLE
An outstanding greenfield opportunity for a professional, technically strong, engaging and entrepreneurial individual to join as a specialist Private Equity Professional Support Lawyer, within the firm's broader Corporate Group.
This role will suit an experienced lawyer with in-depth and extensive knowledge of the private equity sector working closely with, and supporting, the firm’s expanding PE team.
ABOUT YOU
You will ideally have 5pqe+ extensive practical experience working wholly or predominantly for financial sponsors (including international private equity houses, infrastructure and other investment funds), their portfolio companies and management teams.
As a professional support lawyer (PSL) you will demonstrate technical excellence and legal expertise in your area and be responsible for building best practice processes for creating, capturing, curating and disseminating knowledge and supporting the practice.
PSLs are expected to apply a practical and client-centric focus to know-how, and to produce timely and insightful content, which they impart using a variety of channels.
You will be expected to keep up to date with legal and commercial developments that affect the practice and work on, inter alia, know-how, precedents, information management and dissemination as well as engage in specific knowledge projects.
Training will also be within your remit and will involve liaising with the Learning and Development and PE teams on an engaging legal training programme.
You will also contribute to pitches, directories and the website and assist with submissions to legal directories.
This is a unique opportunity for a private equity lawyer to become the firm’s first go to person on law and market practice in this sector.
