Rehearsals are every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 6:55-7:30 a.m. All members are encouraged to be on time and at every morning rehearsal unless he/she is ill AND MISSING SCHOOL for that day. After a student has THREE UNEXCUSED absences (student was absent from choir but attends school that day), he/she will receive a note from Ms. Talton and have a conversation about remaining a member. All EXCUSED absences (student was out of school for entire day or had a Doctor's Appointment) require a note or email from parents. Please plan on dropping your students off with enough time to make it by 6:55 a.m. if they are a car rider in the mornings. It is very important to arrive in a timely manner. Siblings will have a place to go with other students - either the cafeteria for breakfast or the gym before they are dismissed for class.

All classroom rules apply during choir rehearsals. In addition, because Dogwood Dynamix is a large group and this is an extra-curricular activity, we expect students to give 100% participation at each rehearsal and not cause disruptions with excessive talking and distracting behavior. Students who are repeatedly disruptive, talkative, or not participating will be asked to withdraw from the choir. Parents will be notified of any problems. We expect students' best attitude and behavior. This includes respecting the music room property before, during, and after rehearsals.

Dynamix members are expected to have a school t-shirt to wear at performances. Students are also expected to have jeans and nice tennis shoes for performances as well.
