Job Summary

The purpose of the Assistant Indoor & Beach Volleyball Coach is to assist the Director of Volleyball in the organization, management, recruitment, and administration of an NCAA Division I Volleyball & Beach Volleyball program.
 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • 50% - Beach Volleyball – Lead on training, on and off campus recruiting, day-to-day operations, practice management, travel, video/film, training, equipment management, and social media.
  • 40% - Indoor Volleyball – Assisting in all aspects of day-to-day operations of the indoor volleyball program, including, but not limited to, on and off campus recruiting, practice management, travel, budget, training, equipment management, and social media.
  • 10% - Additional responsibilities providing assistance in the coordination and administration of the overall beach and indoor volleyball programs, including other duties assigned by the Director of Volleyball
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's Degree preferred
  • Beach volleyball playing experience; collegiate playing experience preferred
  • One-year beach volleyball coaching experience
  • Knowledge of NCAA Indoor & Beach Volleyball rules and regulations
  • Ability to pass NCAA recruiting certification exam, annually
  • Experience in recruiting successful student-athletes
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Foster a cooperative work environment
  • Demonstrate competitive coaching skills
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge and commitment to compliance with all NCAA and Sun Belt Conference rules and regulations
