Pink Moon Farm 2020 CSA Interest
Hi there,

Below is a quick little survey to get contact info, location, and confirm deposits for a CSA share from Pink Moon Farm.

What is CSA?
CSA stands for community supported agriculture--it's a neat system where you (the eater) pay for part of the harvest a head of time, and I (the farmer) get you those vegetables each week for an agreed upon time period. It's sort of like a vegetable subscription service :) Economically, this helps support the farm as it provides a guaranteed income and steady cash flow. It also helps with feedback, connection, and building relationships between farms and eaters.

Time frame: 19 weeks (Week of June 22 to Week of Oct 26)
Cost: Full share (3-4 people): $600, Half Share (1-2 people): $300

Payment is due either half, or in full by June 1st, 2019. Early bird discount of 10% for folks who sign up between Oct 31 and Feb 1. T4T discount also available! Please make sure to check these off if they apply to you.

There are limited spots for reduced cost shares, work shares, and trades. Arrangements for any of those options need to be made ahead of time. Please get in touch or leave a comment on this survey if that's something you're interested in.

Where Can I Pick Up My Share?
- Tacoma (Ruston Way) on Sunday 11am and 3pm
- Capitol Hill (Gay City) on Monday between 4pm and 7pm
- Tacoma (South Tacoma or Broadway Farmers Market, to be confirmed), TBD date and time

What's in a share?

Using EBT/SNAP
We are in the process of setting up EBT/SNAP payments for our boxes. To use EBT/SNAP for our CSA, we will take weekly payment when you come pick up your share. Our commitment is to set this process up by mid-April. We ask EBT/SNAP members to make a deposit of $40 for a half share, and $80 for a full share. This deposit is the rough cost of 3 weeks of boxes. The full deposit will be returned if members miss no more than 4 pick ups (you can miss one free of charge!).

EBT/SNAP is eligible for use on our produce boxes and egg shares. At this time we cannot accept EBT/SNAP for our goat cheese partnership or meat deposits.
