You can sign up after that deadline but sooner is better and increases your chances of being hired.


PAY IS BASED ON THESE HOURS:

Speaking Round: 1 hour (SU elem-ms events)
Elementary Debate: 1.25 hours
Middle School Public Forum Debate: 1.25 hours
Middle School 3 on 3 Parli Debate: 1.5 hours
High School LD Debate: 1 hour (per debate)
Congress round: 1.5 hour (SU elem-ms events)

NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE SCHEDULED TO RECEIVE A BALLOT, YOU COUNT THE TIME FOR THE ROUND EVEN IF YOU DON'T ACTUALLY RECEIVE A BALLOT.

JUDGING ELIMS: IF THE TOURNAMENT HAS ELIMS, YOU MIGHT JUDGE ELIMS--BE IN CONTACT WITH JIM ABOUT THIS.

JUDGING ASSIGNMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS . . . 1) All staff may judge elementary and middle school and speaking tournaments; 2) Staff with experience in LD, Policy or Public Forum are prioritized for public forum debates--Staff with Congress experience are prioritized for that event; 3) Staff who are 21 and over and who have some college or significant high school debate experience are prioritized for college tournaments; 4) SU IV requires BP experience. Experience means you debated or coached in that event for at least one full year.
