Module 6 - Implementation

Now that you have learned about the TBGO+ we will discuss how to get started with WEGO instruction. In this module we will first discuss how to create a long-range plan for implementing WEGO instruction with one or more students. We will share some examples of long-range plans and the amount of time you will need to plan for activities as part of this project. Then, we will share resources, including a procedural checklist, that will help you get started. The procedural checklist will tell you everything you need to know for implementing WEGO instruction. Let’s get started! 

Learning Objectives

After participating in this module, you should be able to:
  • Create a long-range plan for how you will implement WEGO Instruction in your classroom
  • Use the WEGO procedural checklist to inform your daily lesson plans.

Terminology

Long-range plan: an instructional plan for meeting the overarching goals of a project or unit. In this case, it refers to a long-term plan for implementing WEGO instruction for 6-8 weeks.

Procedural checklist: a checklist that will be provided to you. It includes procedures that should be done as part of your participation in this project.
