Module 4 - Managing the Teacher Dashboard in the TBGO+

In this module, we will be discussing the features of the Teacher Dashboard in the TBGO+ and how they can be used to monitor, score, and provide feedback on student writing. First, we will share how to add students to your teacher account. Next, we will show how to assign essays or prompts to specific students or your entire class, including how to create your own prompts. Third, we will share how to lock and unlock student essays. Then, we will explore what we can learn from the “data usage” feature within the teacher dashboard. Last, we will show how to use the built-in teacher rubric.

Terminology

Teacher Dashboard: The teacher interface of the TBGO+

Data Usage: The data collected from students that include the date, time, number of sign-ins, the specific videos viewed, use of text-to-speech, use of audio comments, use of transition words, number of words, time spent working on essays, time spent watching videos, and the number of attempts it took to finish a particular essay.
