Special Olympics Volunteer Interest Form - Roanoke Valley (Area 8)

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Special Olympics Virginia in the Roanoke Valley!

To sign up as a Special Olympics athlete please go to: https://tinyurl.com/AthleteSignup8

++If you are signing up to help with a Feet Meet, tournament or another ONE day event, you can complete the volunteer release and waiver at the volunteer check in that day.

++If you are helping as a coach or unified partner with a weekly sport please follow directions below. Don't forget to complete the form in the next section so we know which sport you'd like to help with.

1. Make sure registration is current. Volunteer registration is good for 3 years

2. Adults and Minors please complete this form https://tinyurl.com/WaiverInfectiousDisease

Minors are required to complete and submit the Minor form and waiver only. No additional steps are necessary for minors under 18 years old.

Coaches will advise times for each team. Tournaments will be played in Feb and March TBD

SOFTBALL - Sundays. Spring and Summer Beginning April

SOCCER - Aug - Oct.

BIG FEET MEET - Sept
PUMPKINFEST - Salem, Farmers Market Oct
FLAG FOOTBALL - Watch for info about a clinic and tournament at Virginia Tech. Local practices TBA.

ROLLER SKATING - Fall
