The Kinky Curly Theological Collective is excited to announce its Inaugural 2020 writing cohort: Fragmented and Whole. The purpose of this fellowship is to bring Black and African women together to create a vibrant writing community that can support each participant in the further development of their voice. Prospective fellows do not have to be writers or identify as writers in order to participate.
The Kinky Curly Theological Collective believes that every Black and African woman already has the experience, expertise, and education to lead and offer their gifts to the world. We apply this philosophy to our writing practice, so that we do not teach a writing technique as much as we create the space that enables Black and African women to tell their stories in ways that make sense to them.
We will be accepting 6 - 8 Black women into this first cohort. Applications are due on March 1. For more information on the cohort, please visit us at
