Registration for UPenn FluCoMa for MaxMSP Workshops
Composer Ted Moore will teach a week of free workshops March 6-10 on incorporating machine learning into creative and artistic practices. His workshops will focus on using the FluCoMa (Fluid Corpus Manipulation) toolkit in the MaxMSP programming language. Ted recently completed a research fellowship in creative coding funded by the European Research Council (ERC) to develop cutting edge tools of data science for musicians and artists, resulting in the FluCoMa (Fluid Corpus Manipulation) project.

Registration will close on February 22nd, 2023, but if you would like to register after that date, email Kris Bendrick at bendrick@sas.upenn.edu.

Ted recommends the following resources to get a taste for what will be in the workshop

Free intro course to MaxMSP: https://www.kadenze.com/courses/max-msp-programming-course-structuring-interactive-software-for-digital-arts

Free intro course to FluCoMa: https://musichackspace.org/product/whats-possible-with-flucoma-in-max/

FluCoMa topic tutorials, probably will be covered in the workshop, but can help to be familiar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfNZzQPdPG0  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjk9oHw7PQg
