DO WE CREATE OUR OWN REALITY?

Do we create our own reality? The easy answer is "yes and no." On a macro level, we do not. On a micro level we do. The individual does not determine what the Congress does at the macro-level, however, we have to adjust to the impact Congress' actions have on us at the micro-level.
Although, individually, we are not responsible for the state of the world as it is, either our consciousness is accepting the status quo or it is not. When it is not, then it is likely, over time, each individual may become an agent for change at the macro-level. Using the principle, "Change your thinking, change your life," is still vital because we are engaging process as a whole. In action is Lao Tzu's, "The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step." Nor is the great Chinese sage saying the first step will accomplish the journey. Change will be in process as it always is.
The embodiment of our thoughts will give rise to our action and draw unto itself a complement of conditions far more agreeable with our thoughts for the desired change. This does not mean that the universe will change to match our false assumptions about how the cosmos works. It means as we work with universal laws, we will discover, spiritually, we are working with a sense of the Presence of the Universe as well. Faith is the conviction that the universe if for us and is forever, within the relentless changes, providing us with options. This is because God is persuasive and not compulsive. Creating our universe means employing the freedom of choice. If God were compulsive rather than persuasive, then there would be no freedom of choice. In this sense, our choices allows us to create our own reality.

Join Founder's All Rise Chorus!!
Founder's ARC is an inclusive chorus for youth ages 8-18. The group is directed by music educator, Jonas Sills, and is under the auspices of Founder's Community Outreach Corporation, FCOC. Founder's ARC welcomes all children who have a genuine desire to sing and who can enjoy learning and growing as part of a musical group. About Jonas Sills
Jonas Sills has a degree in Choral/Vocal music education as well as an advanced California teaching credential in Kindergarten through High school vocal music from Cal State University Long Beach. Jonas taught public school music for over 20 years spending 15 of those in the Long Beach Unified School District. Rehearsals and Contact Information Rehearsals resume on Sunday, February 2nd from 1:00 to 2:30 at Founder's Center (Chapel) 3281 West 6th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90020. Street parking and garage parking off of New Hampshire.
