I’m curious how many of you posting here are actually still active in SL?

Well, I guess the long title says it all but in case it gets chopped oddly...

I’m curious how many of you posting here are actually still active in SL?
And if you don’t log in to SL anymore, why you still post here or on other SL/virtual world based forums? 
 

edit: If it’s confusing why I asked, some gamers stop playing a game but still post in general forum threads among friends they made, I’m actually in another 2 RL hobbies where people have stopped practicing the hobby but still interact with the communities and I do know that on one other VW based forum, there are a fair amount of people who go by their SL name but don’t actually log in anymore.

I gather most who post their photo's in the threads made for that can be excluded from the list of those not logging in anymore.

Heh, I am.  I didn't ask for permission to take and post their pictures so I didn't include any avatars in the snapshot.

I may not have updated my forum avatar image or forum profile banner in a while but I most certainly am active within Second Life.

Last time I visited SLUniverse, a lot of members were bragging about how long it's been since they logged in to Second Life.  It was just one of many topics that were active at the time.  Most of it seemed very negative to me so I logged out and came here.

as far i know thats nice, but not required.

Active by what subjective ruler?  I’ve gone from second life pretty much being my entire day and a lot of my night 10 years ago to in the last two or three years to only being in world two or three hours a day and now in the past year and a half to maybe two or three days a week and now in the last six or eight months maybe one hour a week total.  
 

I'm currently active in world, and it is in part thanks to these forums, that keep me updated after years of being away.

I log in regularly. (My store is my RL job.)

I've been active almost daily since i first logged into SL in late 2006.  I'm a lot more active in world than I am in these forums.

Practically every day.

I log in but not sure I am active, I tend to stay away from people.

After 12+ years, I am still pretty dang active in SL, as in that I log in for at least an hour each day but usually substantially longer.
And yes, there are times that I temporarily skip logging in, because not only does RL happen sometimes, there are times when I just wanna do something else for a little bit (like play with minecraft), but I rarely stay away from SL for more than a week.

What's "SL"????

I'm logged in right now, but my avatar is lying around by the pool like a slug. Does that count as "active" in SL? 😛

I log in to SL every day, usually for at least 2-3 hours - more on the weekends. The exception being when I'm on vacation.  Then, depending on internet access, I might or might not pop inworld for 5 min or so, mostly to clear out notices and such.  This year we vacationed the week before Christmas.  The place we were at had pretty decent internet and I was doing the Advent calendar thing - visiting multiple calendars daily.  Due to that, I did log on for about an hour or so each evening to go grab the gifts from places that I really liked and where past gifts were not available or not free.   

I'm usually actually doing stuff in SL for at least 1/2 -  2/3 of my logged in time.  Weekends are much more chaotic with me staying logged in but going AFK for RL chores and such off & on all day long. On weekends, I'm probably "active" in SL less than 1/2 of the time that I'm logged in.  I just don't see any reason to log out every time I go do more RL stuff.

I was about to reply and was typing then checked out the op's profile then changed my answer rather than just not bothering, she is one of those my picks override tos people and therefore a complete one of chaucers favourite words about female anatomy so left a snarky response
