Please join us on October 23, 2021 (rain date 10/30/21) from 2 -4 p.m. for a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for the newly revitalized Unity Playground at Gunpowder Elementary School.  The Unity Playground will be dedicated to, and was built in honor of, fallen Officer Amy Sorrells Caprio.  On May 21, 2018, Officer Caprio lost her life in the line of duty protecting the citizens of Baltimore County. More specifically, her brave actions and ultimate sacrifice protected the children that attend Gunpowder Elementary School. This project began in November 2019 and was funded through the generous donations of families, community organizations, local businesses, and the Maryland State government.
