Title says it all. I try really hard to enjoy WoW but the community I come into contact with in game makes me sick. There are so many openly racist people that are just spamming their drivel that u can’t be bothered to want to play.
It’s literally harming my psyche to play WoW at this point. I have to unsub. Thanks for the fun. Ruined by racism. Happy New year.

Or turning off Trade Chat and reporting the people making racial slurs.
You could just turn trade chat off. If not, you might want to consider finding a new server.
Trade Chat is actually turned off my default nowadays. So eh if you cant stand trade chat turn it back off. I bet you are one pf those people spamming their stuff they should put on the Auction House instead.

There are addons out there that let you filter out any words you like that you don’t want to see so you can still use trade chat.
Well said good sir. My good buddy and coworker is a black dude and he says more racial crap in fun than ANYONE I know. Quick witted and funny as all hell I might add. Anyway, When I tell him he almost made me feel uncomfortable(after he has said something racist in front of others) you know what he tells me? NOT even joking here… he tells me to stop being such a snowflake. I don’t know if that in and of itself a racial pun(because I am white) or just a face value nut the F up and stop being so thin skinned lol. I am sure its the latter.
Its disturbing that only OP is hidden when half of the other comments should be as well.

So quit crying here and report them! Get them the muzzle/vacation they so richly deserve. It also have the advantage of muting them for you for the remainder of your log in. Win-win.
After playing other mmos where trade/zone chat are remarkably less offensive than WoW’s, it’s a bit disturbing the majority of responses in this thread is to tell the OP to grow a thicker skin, rather than see its a valid complaint about the nature of WoW interactions.
