Designing Authentic Writing Assignments
Well-designed and scaffolded writing
assignments provide a strong opportunity to support and assess student
learning. This workshop identifies principles of effective writing assignment
design, includes sample assignments for discussion, and provides participants
opportunities to draft, revise, and discuss course-specific writing prompts.
