SC's eldest didn't seem to live permanently with HB and SC, did she ? Otherwise HB would have dropped that child at school on that fateful day.

It doesn't seem so, however we don't know if he might have custody part of the time, in which he'd be responsible for getting her to and from school... and regardless, there is still the son. It would be awfully difficult to work as a single dad of a newborn and an older child in itself, without the added stress of not being able to trust anyone at all right now. imo.

Unlike so many tragedy's, public generosity does not seem to follow SC. I'm afraid early scrutiny is still clouding him. The children should not be punished. MOO

What that article doesn't mention is that here was another fundraiser on FB that raised more than 15K. I am always torn after these tragedies when the victim's or their families ask for donations. Looking at this situation, I 'get it', but not to the extent that 50K is needed. And are toys necessary? From my perspective, the children have many adults who love them and will care for them and will shower them with gifts and love. I do believe that it wasn't Shane who started the amazon wishlist and it was one of the youtube people that started it (and also a fundraiser)... I do think it has since been handed over Shane or his Dad to deal with because no one can ever be sure of the intentions when it comes to these high profile cases.

I also think you are correct Seattle, that there is still some scrutiny out there... which is being pushed by one of Heidi's "BF's". There are a few interviews from the past week out there, one with Shane, one with Caressa. I will message Tricia and ask if we can discuss them before I discuss them too much lol

I totally agree with you. Don't you have paternity leave in the States ?

BREAKING: Magen Fieramusca indicted on charge of capital murder by terror threat in death of Heidi Broussard.
I was going to say so the wording of that makes it sound as if someone else would be charged with the murder by ligature strangulation but your next post answers that - not the case. Murder by terror threat? That's a new one on me.

Probably.. but on the other hand, how can the guy even go to work right now, unless he's got his dad or HB's parents to personally look after Margo and pick up and drive the other kid(s) to school and back every day.. at least for NOW.. so I'm thinking he may be in need of replacement income so he can be at home for awhile, at least until this case is solved/resolved. Who could trust a babysitter/daycare if you can't even trust your best friend (if you were him, anyway!)?
Right, but 50K? That is a big ask.

He could have asked for 10k and that would give him a few months to figure something out, and then he could go to the well again. Like if you ask your parents for a car when you turn 16, do you need to ask for a new BMW or should you maybe ask for a nice safe used car to start with?

AUSTIN -- Murder during the commission of a terroristic threat would become a death penalty crime under legislation tentatively approved by the Texas House on Monday.

"Texas' capital murder statute was not enacted with nondomestic crimes (international terrorism) in mind, and therefore it does not encompass scenarios in which a terrorist may kill one person with the accompanying specific intent to intimidate the citizenry or paralyze commerce," Rep. Terry Keel, R-Austin, told the House.

Current law describes a terroristic threat as a threat to commit violence with the intent of causing a reaction by a volunteer agency that deals with emergencies or to cause an individual to fear imminent serious bodily injury.
Murder amid terror threat may become death penalty crime
Were they waiting for this to pass to charge her?
