St. Joseph’s brings together family, fun classes, cultural appreciation, safety and love for Native American children in need.

The four-year high school graduation rate for Native American students in South Dakota is 45%. However, at St. Joseph's Indian School, Native American students are beating the odds and graduating at a rate of 96%.

Since 1927 we have been serving the educational, cultural and spiritual needs of Lakota children. Through family-style living and emphasizing cultural development, we provide for every single need of our nearly 200 students … all at no cost to them or their families.
