Spring Break in Session: Digital Audio Production with foundry10 & The Vera Project
Foundry10 and The Vera Project are teaming up to offer a weeklong audio workshop series for young people ages 14-19. This workshop series offers skill building in digital audio songwriting for new, beginner, and intermediate producers, and opportunities to meet and learn from special guest artists! Beginners will learn how to record audio, use MIDI to make beats, basic mixing and sharing their work. More advanced students can learn to up their game with mixing, learn about Ableton’s MPE capabilities and creative effects usage like sidechaining or reverse gate.

April 11, 12, 14 & 15 (no class on Wednesday), 11am - 2pm
The Vera Project (305 Harrison Street, north of Climate Pledge Arena)

Program Details:
All activities are hosted at The Vera Project, an all-ages music and arts venue located on Seattle Center's campus. Participants should plan to bring their own lunch. Bus tickets are available upon request, however participants are responsible for their own transportation. Limited computers with Ableton are available, but participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop if they have one. Covid-19 Safety Information:
For safety purposes, all participants at VERA programs must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 and will be asked to wear masks while inside the venue. Please stay home if you have any COVID-19 symptoms or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
