Sign-Up Form: Soundcheck 2.0 (Open Mic Session)

We're throwing a block party at Areté and the whole Ateneo community is invited! Join us for Soundcheck 2.0 as we welcome the new school year with an Open Mic Session and potluck at the Ignacio B. Gimenez Amphitheater on Aug 31, 2023 at 4:30pm.

Prepare to step onstage and be part of the main act in an afternoon of live performance art and music. Everyone is invited to bring snacks and drinks to share with fellow attendees so let's wrap up this incredible month together with food, fun, and friends! Register for this event / Sign up at

Qualifications

  1. Open to all members of the Ateneo community (students, faculty, staff), whether solo or group, as long as there is at least one Ateneo community member.
  2. Please note that musical instruments are NOT provided. Kindly bring your own if you plan to perform.
    Cables and other connectors for your instruments can be supplied upon request, pending availability.

Mechanics for Entries
  1. Performers are required to complete and submit this online application form.
  2. Deadline of submission is August 25, 2023 (Friday).
  3. Selected performers will be notified via email on or before August 26, 2023 (Saturday).
Provisions
  1. Extension cords, basic speakers, and 3 microphones will be provided.
  2. Additional technical equipment (additional extension cords, microphones, or speakers) may be provided upon request, subject to availability.

Viewership
  1. Soundcheck performances are designed to be casual and intimate, allowing the artist and audience to interact with each other in a relaxed environment. 
  2. Audience turnout is not guaranteed, but the intimate setting allows for a more personalized experience for those who do attend.
  3. This edition of Soundcheck 2.0 is open to members of the Ateneo community. 
Cancellation Notice
  1. In any event that the performer must cancel, kindly inform us at least two (3) days before the event, in this case, on/before August 28, 2023. You may email Grace at gng@ateneo.edu for cancellation.
Force Majeur
  1. The sessions are performed outdoors, but weather permitting. Depending on the severity of the weather, performers' schedules may be moved, pushed back, or transferred to an indoor venue.
