Just received and installed them a moment ago and I'm already in love with them! I'm using them for 3 reptile enclosures. Previously I was using those analogue dial timers, but found them to be bad at keeping time, clunky and the constant whirring noise was right next to my bed and keeping me awake. Finally bit the bullet and went digital and I'm so glad I did! Easy Setup - These products were VERY easy to set up using the Nooie app and it took about 10 seconds to pair each device at most. Then all I had to do was set when I wanted them to turn off and on. The adjustments to the timing are instantly transferred to the device. You can still turn them off/on manually using the button on the side if you need to. I'm very impressed with the features of these timers, allowing for set intervals and even a loop timer. As expected they're completely silent apart from a knocking/deep click when they turn off/on. (the noise isn't much louder than the click I hear from my reptiles thermostats :) ) Advice for Nooie App Pairing: Click to confirm the device is flashing (don't worry about it just yet), input your WIFI details + password, THEN activate your nooie by holding the button and waiting for the light to start flashing, and then click next on your device to begin pairing. As others have mentioned, the nooie plug will stop flashing - be patient as it's pairing and hasn't timed out. Give it about 5-10 seconds once it stops flashing and your device should tell you it was paired :) Great fit for Gang Extension strips! - One of my favourite things about these is the SIZE of them. I'm using those flat white electrical extension strips as I'm lacking socket in my room - I found the analogue ones to be SO bulky that I couldn't put two side by side. The Nooie plugs are super compact and are only about the size of a plug themselves, so they don't take up any extra room and you can put them next to each just fine. Be sure to plug them in right hand side first on the strip - the buttons for the Nooie are on the left hand side and you can't reach them once two nooie plugs are side by side in this kind of extension. This isn't an issue once you have them set up, since you'll be controlling them from your device. It would be somewhat easier if the button was not on the left side, but the bottom side (opposite end of the light) - however again it's not a huge deal unless you're using gang strips and want to be able to access the buttons frequently. Value for money - I chose Nooie not only because they did what I needed, but because of the price point. There are a LOT of smart plugs out there that are the same price or even double for just x2 plugs. Seeing as I needed a minimum of 3 and maximum of 4, these were worth the shot :) I really like the sleek and neutral design of these plugs, they don't stand out. Although I don't need the functions myself, it's extremely handy to be able to give others access to control my devices (permanently OR temporarily) and I'm sure plenty of people will enjoy using them with Alexa. Wholeheartedly recommend and extremely glad I purchased, sincerely hoping they last forever :)
