You are invited to join leaders from the New Organizing Alliance for an advanced leadership training. The two and a half day workshop is an opportunity to connect your experience of local organizing with the fundamental principles, practices, and promise of broad based community organizing.
The training will be in Annapolis, Maryland and will run from 4pm Sunday October 8th through dinner on Tuesday October 10th. Participants will stay at the Westin in Annapolis and training and meals will occur a 15 minute walk or 7 minute shuttle away at First Presbyterian Church of Annapolis.
In the coming month, we will finalize the location, cost, and agenda for the workshop and we will ask for firm RSVPs. For now, please fill out this pre-registration form to show your interest in attending by August 15.
The New Organizing Alliance is a network of leaders and organizers from eight organizations who come together to learn from one another and build power for justice in our communities. Current member organizations: WIN, VOICE, Greater Boston Interfaith Organization, ACT, AIM, PATH, Greater Cleveland Congregations, and Common Ground Milwaukee.
