Never Kiss a Stranger

Rate this book
Kiki

Ellis Atwood is the devil. Ok, maybe that’s too harsh. Ellis Atwood is ruining my life.
First, he demolishes a perfectly good wedding trellis.
Second, he destroys a gorgeous doggie wedding that I spent ages planning. (I kid you not.)
Third, he makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, and that is not ok. I prefer the cold and harsh way my fiancé makes me feel so much better. (wait, that didn’t come out right.)
Fourth, and there is a fourth, he gets me all wound up and flustered.
And last, when he unexpectedly kissed me it made me forget my own name, or the fact that I’m getting married...in a month.
Please someone help me out. I’m a mess.
Worst part is, Ellis isn’t the bad guy I first thought he was.
And being forced to spend time with him is making me realize that he needs my help more than anything.
So what’s a girl like me to do?

Ellis

I’m only in town long enough to figure out a plan with my brother on how to save our brewery from the awfulness that is my father. Oh and be in a wedding.
Where I may or may not be crushing a little too hard on the bride-to-be. (spoiler alert, I'm crushing hard.)
She’s really cute. Like seriously.
And she has the cutest job, she’s a dog wedding planner. (I kid you not.)
I can see why Henry loves her.
I can see why everyone loves her.
I can see why I’m falling for her.
I’m usually not a relationship-type guy. Call it picky or whatnot, but usually I get bored easily. So, my plan is simple. Spend as much time with Kiki (soon to be Faniki, I know) and hopefully get bored with her adorkable smile and sexy legs that go on for miles.
Then, I can save the brewery, be the best man of the wedding, and get my butt back to Atlanta and away from the happy couple.

NEVER KISS A STRANGER By Logan Chance
This book captivated me from the very 1st sentence! I started this at 11 pm thinking I would just see how it was going to go and I could not put it down until I finished it at 3:30 am. I was laughing a lot with this one. Logan Chance is at the top of his romcom game with this, bringing us tons of laugh out loud dialogue, Ellis & Kiki have a random chance meeting that goes awry. They are a great couple who have on fire chemistry, a unique story line, with one hiccup after another along the way. I will not give any spoilers, but definitely grab this book and settle in for a great read, this is a certain 5 star read! Congrats Logan on another very well done story!!

Started reading Saturday evening and finished early Sunday afternoon....couldn’t put it down.

Let's start off saying this is a brand new author to us and we really enjoyed our first read by them. The second page in and I was already laughing out loud and still several chapters later I was still going strong. This book was all kinds of crazy right down to the plot itself with its crazy yoga classes to its dog spa weddings to its goat eating frenzy all the while being kiss by a hot stranger in a parking lot that you will not soon forget.

The characters were amazing and the story just flowed and kept you glued to the pages the entire time.Is was easy to love most of the characters they were engaging and funny, some stuck up and boring and not wanting to face reality right down to the last one that is cumming and not in a good way.

I loved both Ellis and KiKi they had a lot of chemistry between them and a whole lot of hotness between them this couple knew how to burn up the sheets inside and outside of the bedrooms and the sexual romps were hotter then hell.

(That Kiki was one lucky girls lol)

Ellis was a character that you falling in love with instantly from his dashingly good looks to his home town charm with his amazing sense of humor.

KiKi was another character you down right loved because of her wicked sense of humor and she was bright and beautiful and sexy and one who goes out of her way to please others above herself time and time again but, she is no pushover mind you just a little bit confused and lost but, she had some really great friends to help guide her along with her common sense.

Overall we loved this crazy love story the whole entire story was infused with humor that had me laughing out loud the entire time and one that was all kinds of crazy but, in a good way. This is the perfect book to read to get out of a book funk you could be experiencing or just looking for a new author to read.I would definitely read more books from this author and looking forward to it.

Kiki is astounded when the gorgeous stranger who ruined her trellis lays the best kiss of her life on her lips. And when he turns out to be her fiancé's best man...yeah, talk about uncomfortable. Especially since she can't get that kiss off her mind, and the gorgeous man attached to that kiss.

Ellis needs Henry's investment in his Bearded Goat bar, and he'd never think of starting anything with his friend's woman, so he can't possibly think of Kiki any longer. He can't think of that kiss. Can't think of how beautiful she is, how she lights everything up wherever she goes.

I love this rom com. It's laugh out loud funny, has baby goats and yoga, and Ellis and Kiki's chemistry is smokin hot. I always love Logan's writing, from his darker, more suspenseful stories, to his super sexy contemporaries, but I think his rom coms are my favorite, and this one is one of his best. Can't wait for more.

This book is hysterical. I mean the first chapter features some baby goats and yoga. It had me laughing from the start. I love the characters, all of them, Kiki and Ellis and Poppi and Lola. From Goat Yoga to dog weddings and beer for dogs. So many brilliant ideas in this book and to top it off a hot, sexy love story!

Ellis & Kiki are the perfect antidote!

I was chomping at the bit for this book and it was everything I hoped it would be and more!!

Ellis is the swooniest BBF ever!! He is charming, gorgeous, thoughtful, holds a girl's hair when she's sick, talented, can't dance or sing but he doesn't care he does it anyway, loves dogs, helps his family even if his father infuriates him, and agrees to be best man for a friend he hasn't seem in years...

Even though the bride is the woman he just kissed. Yeah...small problem.

But...

Kiki, the bride, is having cold feet. And when you read this, you would be too.

She also runs a dog spa with her best friend, Poppi and they just started offering doggie weddings. I love Kiki and her friends. The workouts Lola takes them to are hilarious!!!

And oh my goodness, I did not see that twist coming. Kiki's fiance seems like an oblivious jerk but you definitely won't see this coming. Lol. Good one, Logan.

I loved Ellis's brother, Urban. We need more Urban.

Just the right mix of laughs, heart, and heat. Plenty of steam. Sizzling.

I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Smoldering, Slow Burn!

Kiki Kingsley is engaged to Henry, and starts to have second thoughts when a complete stranger gives her a toe curling kiss. She starts to rethink how much everything is about Henry, and how she's losing herself in the relationship.
Ellis Atwater comes home to try to save the his family bar "The Bearded Goat" from financial ruin. After meeting Kiki, he has to figure out how to get his friends fiancee out of his mind. But all Ellis can do is think of her non-stop.
Logan Chance brings on the heat in this smoldering, slow burn romantic comedy. This book is like a box of chocolates, because you never know what you're gonna get inside. This book is guaranteed to make you laugh out loud and maybe even think about buying a goat. I love this page turning, romantic comedy, with quirky female character, swoony male character, definitely plenty of laughs, and HEA.

The animal wedding planner and the impulsive kiss.

I really enjoyed this Rom-com read about a girl who’s engaged to the wrong man and the kiss that was so wrong.

Kiki is engaged to Henry. A guy who doesn’t understand her and is more interested in his job. Ellis ends up being Henry’s best man and takes over wedding duties.

After Ellis accidentally kisses Kiki before they know what they are to each other things get complicated, although the solution is simple.

This book was fun. It was light-hearted and a little crazy. It’s available on KU which is how I read it but I’ve joined the blog tour. I will happily consider other books by this author.

description

I had a great time reading NKAS. It's a quick, fun, steamy, hilarious and... did I said steamy? The kind of hot as hell! 🔥🔥🔥

Kiki is one of the partners in a pet grooming store and as part of the business worked as a wedding dog planner. A sassy and determined girl. She was engaged with Henry. A guy that had a hidden intentions to get married. And a few times I wanted to stomp in his feet at least. A total j...k! But the unexpected kiss of a stranger could change everything.

Ellis is the man who have the hard task to keep afloat his family's brewery. He came to town for a short term. But meeting Kiki, falling for her was a twist in his life. A really good one.

Logan is one of the authors that I wanted to try since I discovered him and didn't disappointed me. I loved Kiki and Ellis. Both of them are sexy, but Ellis have this filthy, dirty mouth that will cause you goose bumps and cheeks burning.

It's the perfect read to distract you and give you the right amount of laugh, hotness and fun.

For the love of all things goats and hotness this was by far my favourite by logan chance.
I Absolutely love this author.

Never kiss a stranger, yummy I so want to bite Ellis lip.
Kiki is engaged to Henry who I absolutely hate. I so want to throat punch him.
One morning Kiki was about to deliver something for a doggy wedding, when a little accident happens and a sexy as sin stranger kissed her, trust me when I say you feel that kiss too. Its toe curling.

Ellis is so hot you need a fan to cool down after reading this book. Ellis returns home to help save his family brewery. One encounter changes everything. This was by far the best book I've read so far this April.
Please note dont read this in public you'll end up being cross legged.
Thanks Logan this book was amazing.

Logan Chance is the Romcom king... there is no doubt about it! This book was a feel good, fun, sexy, laugh out loud and capture you from page one story!

Kiki meets Ellis when he ran over her trellis. In the midst of him trying to apologize, he also lands a big huge kiss on her but what was weird to them both was the electric connection. Too bad Kiki is already taken and in love.... or is she? Dog weddings, goat yoga, karaoke bar singing are just some of the fun things that will have you laughing!

Logan Chance’s writing is so witty and unique, it always makes me smile and this story is my favorite romcom of the year. Definitely a 5 star recommendation!

5 star review of Never Kiss A Stranger by Logan Chance

This was such an intriguing blurb that I readily jumped at the chance to read and review. I’m really not sure where to start with this review. There was a freshness about this story line that I absolutely loved.

When I learnt that Kiki is a dog wedding planner, I couldn’t wait to read her story. When stranger, Ellis Atwood kisses her, Kiki’s life is thrown in to chaos.

After all Kiki has a successful business, not to mention a fiancee; the last thing she should or needs to be doing is kissing a stranger.

Kiki is torn by the attraction she has for Ellis as the chemistry between them intensifies.
Ellis is in town to try and help save his family brewery and the last thing he needs is the complication of his attraction to Kiki.

This was a quirky story that had me laughing out loud so much that my family thought me crazy. Throw in a few dog weddings and goat yoga and your just know your in for a crazy ride.

A great romantic comedy that ticked all the boxes for me. It was an entertaining read that had me riveted from the first to the last chapter.

If you are looking for a book that will put a smile on your face, then one click this little gem.

Chance does it again with this top-notch, over-the-top romcom. This book went from zero to sixty in a skinny minute and pretty much read itself while I held on for a delightfully outrageous, side-splitting ride. It was an all-consuming read that I flew through from beginning to end.

Kiki Kingsley is a quirky, captivating heroine who runs a pet grooming store that now specializes in puptuals with all the wedding trimmings for betrothed dogs. Her BFFs are her rock, and they’re both equally as charming. Kiki is also engaged to Henry, who wants her because she fits his five-year plan (and boy, oh boy, does he turn out to be a doozie!)

Ellis Atwood is only in town to help rescue his family's brewery, which his father has managed to run into the ground. After running over a trellis Kiki needs for a wedding the next day, while trying to make things right with her, which she is less than receptive to, he spots his father driving past and panics. This is where the not ever kissing a stranger part comes in. That kiss sets off a crazy chain of events, and my only advice is for you, dear reader, to tie another knot and hang on tight!

When I first started reading and leaving reviews, I sought out male romance writers since they were the unicorns of contemporary romance. A thousand reviews later, Chance is one of only two who I’ve stuck with, and he's an automatic 1-Click for me after proving himself time and again. He never let’s me down, and each book is somehow better than the last.

If you like a romcom that makes you laugh until you cry, has plenty of heart to take you on an emotional ride, and has enough heat to make you blush, don’t miss out on Ellis and Kiki's story. Quick witted, fast paced and full of all the feels, this one will leave you with a grin on your face and a happy sigh in your heart.

A truly delightful romantic comedy that will give you all the warm fuzzies and make you laugh out loud.

Kiki is a dog groomer with her best friend and while they are branching out into offering weddings as part of their services (that's right you read that correctly-doggie weddings-it's actually adorable), she is also caught up in a whirlwind engagement and wedding planning of her own. Kiki hasn't been dating Henry for long before he popped the question and while at the time it seemed romantic, she is beginning to question her quick response to saying "yes", especially after her incident in the parking lot where she just so happens to kiss a complete stranger.

Ellis is home to hopefully help his family get out of a financial slump. Looking over the books and then get back to his own life. He never thought he'd run into an old high school friend and be asked to be in his wedding, especially as his best man, considering they haven't really seen one another in years, but that isn't even the shocking part. When Henry introduces Ellis to his fiancée, it just so happens to be the woman he kissed in the parking lot the other day. Now what are the odds of that?

When Ellis and Kiki meet, through Henry, for the first (although really second) time, their lives suddenly move at a fast pace, with Kiki making plans for a wedding she doesn't necessarily desire and for Ellis helping her plan to marry a man that isn't him.

Ellis and Kiki have great comedic and steamy chemistry. This made a recipe for a perfect romcom couple. With adorable animals and lots of great wit, this was a wonderful story to lose myself in.

First and foremost thank you Logan for writing this book, truly brighten up my month!

When you have goats, a nightmare of a day, dogs and a stranger kisses another stranger, you get a whole bunch of laughs and a fantastic story. I have read every single book of Logan’s and let me tell you I think this one tops them all in the comedy department. He never disappoints. The story of Kiki and Ellis was so funny I was snorting loudly and legit got my ab workout for the week. Ellis shined in this story being the gentlemen that he is and Kiki was a hot mess yet she pretty much knew it. Not going to lie, I loved the supporting characters and hope to see them more in the future. Just putting it out there Chance. LOL! This story was laugh out loud, so very loud, romantic and on the slow burn side, but all in all very addicting and couldn’t put it down. This book is on my top reads for April so check it out.

Kiki owns a dog grooming business with her best friend, but they have a unique twist which allows dogs to commemorate their love for each other with a service. After a short engagement she is also planning her own wedding except she is beginning to wonder if it is a bit premature especially after she shares a kiss she can’t stop thinking about with a sexy stranger.

Ellis is back in town to make the family business viable once again. He needs capital and Henry is willing to provide it if he helps his fiancé plan their wedding. The only catch is that Henry’s fiancé is the woman he shared a kiss with and spending time with her could either be the best thing to happen to him or the worst.

This was such a fun and unique story. The antics of not only Kiki and Ellis but the secondary characters will bring a smile to your face and although the feelings they have for each other complicate both their lives they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Never Kiss A Stranger has goats, dog weddings and plenty of heat! This was such a fun read. I was laughing out loud and fanning myself all throughout this story.

Kiki is a dog groomer and a dog wedding planner. She is engaged to an investment banker, has a great group of friends. She has a good thing going for her. Until a goat eats her engagement ring, a stranger runs into her trellis and kisses her. Ellis is in town to save the family brewery. In order to avoid his father he decides to kiss a stranger. However, kissing a stranger can come back to haunt you.

I loved Kiki and Ellis. They had amazing chemistry from the start. Kiki is hardworking and smart. She has a great group of friends, who I’d love to hang out with. Ellis is hardworking, loves his beer and is an insanely talented graphic designer. These two were drawn to each other from that first random kiss. They had a great connection.

Never Kiss A Stranger is a great rom com filled with goats, dog weddings, laughs, heat and beer! Grab yourself a bottle, kick back and relax with this hilarious story! A MUST READ!

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.

This was an easy and fast read. At first I thought it was going to be a cheating book, but let me assure you, it was NOT. Its about two people finding themselves and what's the right thing for them.

There are some great friendships in this, but also some horrible people as well. I loved the goats, I loved the dogs, I loved the beer ideas.

I felt it was a bit too much sex in the second part of the book. It fell apart a bit for me there, like that's all that was going on every two minutes.

For the most part though, this was an easy, light and enjoyable read.

Never Kiss a Stranger was not what I was expecting. I was expecting more of a slow burn romance with a forbidden element to it.

This story is about Kiki, dog spa co-owner, who recently gotten engaged and has the perfect fiancé—well according to her mother. She is happy with her business and friends but just content with her love life. An earth shattering kiss by a handsome stranger makes her start questioning every thing. They have a connection that’s unexplainable and quite alluring. It’s something they cannot explore because she is engaged and he is now the best man to her fiancé. Which is a shocker to the both of them. They have to stay in the confines of friendship but they more time they are spending time together, it becomes increasingly difficult.

This romance was fast paced with the couple denying the attraction and chemistry in the beginning because of obvious reasons, then giving into it once every thing was clear. They ending was quite a shocker to me. I laughed when I found out the truth about Henry. I feel bad for saying this, but I wasn’t fond of the characters names. It made me disconnect from the story a bit. The writing was good and there were funny moments though. It was a quick and easy read .

Never Kiss Stranger is a steamy romance that has you believing in love at first sight. Kiki and Ellis meet in the most unusual way, he kisses a complete stranger. Kiki is engaged to Henry in what can be described as a whirlwind relationship. But he has an agenda. Then Ellis shows up and crashes into Kiki’s life.
Kiki loves the idea of marriage and turns blind eye to Henry’s shortcomings. She makes excuse after excuse to justify their relationship. Then the surprise kiss from Ellis rocks her world. Kiki is a business owner and has a passion for dogs and her dog grooming business.
Ellis helps run the family brewery. He is resentful of his father and what his shortcomings have done to the family. He’s not a player but not the relationship type either. He’s smart, creative and a very rational thinker until he crashes into Kiki’s life. His life will never be the same.
I throughly enjoyed Never Kiss A Stranger. Logan Chance has written a storyline that captures your imagination and very likable characters. I definitely recommend reading Never Kiss A Stranger. I hoping their will be more in store for a Ellis and Kiki as well as others in the story.

Never Kiss A Stranger! they also say “Never Say Never “

Well Kiki and Ellis the trellis guy ( you’ll see why he’s called that when you read this amazing story) , apparently didn’t follow those rules and thankfully so.

When I saw the blurb for this new story I thought..... what is Logan up to now? We all know that he has a way with words and his stories are nothing less than brilliant and this one is no exception. We get Logan’s wicked sense of humor ( his one liners are absolutely epic), they had me laughing so hard and his s** scenes were off the chart hot🔥 I will never look at a hot tub the same again or a car or well you get the drift.

I sit and ponder, how can a book with goat yoga, karaoke , dancing lol doggie weddings, a brewery be so entertaining, funny and sexy all at once.... and let’s not forget some angst and a plot twist I didn’t see coming.... well Logan Chance is what happened once again he’s taking all the above and weaved in another brilliant entertaining story.

On April 7 this book release and make sure you “one click”ASAP
We all need a diversion from life right now and this book is just the right one.

Logan Chance has done it again with a non stop page turning RomCon story. Kiki and Ellis are THE couple I want to be friends with in real life, their personalities are just so infectious that you can't help but be in a better mood when you're interacting with them or in our case reading right alongside them as they live their lives. From the very first chapter I was in stitches with the animals and characters interactions. A standalone romance that you will never want to put down, bump this book to the top of your TBR list now and start reading ASAP because if you don't you're missing out big time.

4.5 Stars!

Never Kiss A Stranger is the perfect romantic comedy book. It has everything, including goat yoga, a dog wedding and a hot and steamy forbidden couple!

Kiki, a dog groomer/wedding planner, is engaged to Henry and is knee deep in wedding plans when a chance encounter with a random stranger nearly running her over, destroying decorations for a dog wedding ceremony in the process, leads to him kissing her. Shocked, and never expecting to see him again, she moves on with her life until the stranger arrives at the dog wedding and she’s introduced to him, as her fiancé's best man, Ellis.

Ellis has returned to Jupiter from Atlanta to help save his family’s failing brewery business. He runs into school friend Henry, a man he hasn’t seen in years, who agrees to invest in the business if Ellis becomes his best man and helps his fiancée organise the wedding.

Both can't believe it when Henry introduces them. Kiki is adamant she doesn’t need help with the wedding preparation, but Ellis is desperate, not only to save the brewery but to see where his feelings for Kiki could go. The mutual attraction between them grows the more time they spend together organising Kiki and Henry’s wedding and Kiki begins to doubt whether she and Henry are compatible as couple and if they are marrying for the right reasons. Will Ellis and Kiki ever be able to give in to the chemistry between them and explore to see if they are meant to be, or will Kiki stay with Henry, the man who doesn’t really own her heart?

This book was brilliant, it was laugh out loud funny and so quirky and weird in places, the trip to the dog spa was hilarious! I loved it. It had such a good plot line, I read it in one sitting because I was eager to see what happened to Kiki and Ellis as a couple. It was so hot and steamy, downright dirty in places, and I loved how Ellis truly listened to Kiki and that’s what set him apart from Henry. They had such a strong connection, watching them fight it as well as watching Kiki repair her relationship with her mum were some of my favourite parts. The twist came out of nowhere and I adored the ending, it was perfect! I would highly recommend Never Kiss A Stranger!

What do you get when you combine a ring eating goat, dog weddings and terrible dancing?? One hell of a romantic comedy!! This is my first Logan Chance novel and I took a chance because it honestly didn't seem like my normal go to, but I am so glad I did. Never Kiss a Stranger was exactly what I needed to get me out of my feelings and laughing again.

Kiki is absolutely perfection!! There is nothing I love more than the good writing of a female character. She owns a dog spa with her best friend and is recently getting into dog weddings. Kiki is recently engaged to Henry after only being together for a month (INSERT WTF HERE) and now is trying to rush the wedding so that Henry can get on with his 5-year plan. And Kiki wants this too, doesn't she??

Ellis is handsome, funny, charming and he loves beer. No, not in the alcoholic way. In the he has to save his families brewery with the help of his brother before his father runs it in the ground. Little does he know his whole life is about to change all because he ran over a trellis. What is a man to do when he runs over a girl’s trellis and she is super furious? Kiss her DUH!! Ellis thinks he will never see the mysterious girl again but low and behold he is now the best man in her wedding to none other than Henry. Yeah, that Henry.

Kiki is bound to spend more time with Ellis because of the upcoming nuptials but what she doesn't expect is how she can't get him off her mind. Truths come out, lives are changed, and laughs are had. As this story heats up in more ways than one you will fall in love with Kiki and Ellis and their road to HEA!! Only con, I wish the epilogue was a bit longer with more detail, but I am a sap for a good epilogue.

Sexy and light, this dirty rom com flies by. I've seen Logan Chance's books on the bestseller lists before, but this is my first time reading one and I've got to say, it was a fun read! What starts as a slow burning rom com turns into an, uh, kinda filthy read, honestly. It's perhaps a little over the top (and a little too like insta-love), but I enjoyed it from start to finish. Chance's writing is solid, the plot is interesting, and having so much of the story told from the hero's perspective was a treat.

Essentially, the story follows Kiki, a woman who agreed to marry the wrong guy. Simple as that. They've only been dating for a short time and it all came on suddenly, but now she finds herself engaged and isn't sure how to feel about it. Enter Ellis, a former childhood friend of the groom who sneaks a kiss from Kiki before realizing that she's engaged. As the two spend time together, it becomes increasingly obvious that Kiki is with the wrong man, and neither one is quite sure what to do about that.

It's a quick, light, and steamy read that doesn't delve too deep or linger on angst for long. And though the premise could easily have gone off the rails - Kiki is engaged to another man for a significant portion of the book - Chance navigates the complexities well. Though the steam was a bit much for me and I couldn't believe how gullible Kiki was at times, I enjoyed the vast majority of the book. I'd definitely check out more of Chance's work if I was in the right mood, and if you're looking for a quick and steamy read, then he's delivering some pretty solid work. I received an ARC via Wildfire Marketing Solutions and am voluntarily leaving a review of this steamy rom com.

This book gave me everything I wanted and needed in the perfect romance story. It was easy to fall in love with every character, and the story line was heartwarming. If this isn’t already on your TBR list, you definitely need to add it.

Kiki is a dog groomer, a planner for dog weddings, and is currently engaged. While picking up items for her upcoming wedding, a stranger gives her the best kiss of her life. Kiki can't seem to forget about that kiss. When she runs into him again, she’s surprised he is introduced as her fiancé groomsman. Ellis is in town to help his family business, and he was not prepared to fall for his childhood friends fiance.

Kiki is one of my favorite characters. Things keep happening to her, and she starts questioning life choices. She was strong enough to make decisions that would make her happy. I love seeing MC’s that take’s chances like she does. In the end it was definitely worth their happily ever after.

I absolutely adored Ellis. The more I read about him, the more I fell in love with him too. He was not prepared for someone like Kiki. She rocked his world, and helped him become a better man. My favorite part in the whole entire book was when he went after her without any hesitation. Swooooooon.

Kiki and Ellis had wonderful chemistry. They understood each other, and the humor they had. There was no judgement in their relationship. The sexual tension was intense to read, and it was easy to flip through the pages. I needed to know how their story would end, but I was sad when it ended. This was a phenomenal hilarious read.

I received an arc for a honest review.

4.5 stars! This was a super sexy, funny romance!

"He's kissing me. Oh. My. God. And there's some sort of misfire happening in my brain right now, because for some reason I can't seem to push him away."

Kiki Kingsley is a dog-groomer extraordinaire and a budding dog wedding planner! She's also engaged to Henry, following a whirlwind romance. Her days are busy dealing with her overbearing mother, attending some weird exercise classes with her two best buds (LOL), and then finds herself having to organise her own wedding with her fiancé's best man - a stranger who kissed her in a car park the day before she was introduced to him. A gorgeous guy who makes her nerves tingle more than her fiancé.

"She's the most off-limits person in the universe for me right now."

Ellis Atwood is only in town to help pull his family business back from the brink of collapse. He never expects to kiss a beautiful stranger. He never expects to meet an old school friend, who asks him to be best man at his wedding to said beautiful stranger. However, there's a lot riding on his agreement. How hard can it be to keep his distance?

"The woman's doing something to me, heating me up all over, and making me know without a shadow of a doubt that I want to be in her orbit."

This was such a fun, hot read! I loved Ellis - he was genuine, caring and a hella dirty talker! I loved his attraction to Kiki and how he found her completely enthralling and amazing. Kiki was cute and a little bit quirky. I loved her ideas. I wish she hadn't been such a doormat with Henry and her mother, thought, but I thought Ellis brought out the best in her. The two of them together were freakin' adorable and their chemistry was off the charts. They could be pretty dorky together and there was one scene in a club where they really made me laugh. Overall, a fab, amusing, sexy read!

DNF at 20%, hence not gonna rate it.

Wow, what a great start to my 2021🚶‍♀️. I loved the blurb and was so excited to read this book, but it was nothing like what I had in mind. Such a pity it wasn't good enough to keep me reading, as it has so many 5 star ratings which I don't understand why. Didn't work for me.

A stranger kisses you without your permission and you don't slap him silly (especially when you have a boyfriend, oh wait, fiance ) because you were stressed and he's good-looking? I mean, I know it happens all the time in books (some I even enjoyed) but the writing was so blunt and the scenes were unreal even for a fictional book. Atleast make them believable, y'know? the characters had no depth at all. And I am SO done with insta love these days, this was bad. Maybe it gets better, I'll never know and certainly not dying to find out.
